Keyboard For Beginners
I bet Peter, my husband, that I could learn to play the piano in six months on my Yamaha Keyboard for beginners or I would give up the idea and stop nagging him for a real acoustic piano. I’d been trying for about nine years to learn how to play but the kids schedules kept getting in the way. I could never practice long enough to learn the basics. The cost of lessons at the local music studio was outrageous; not to mention I was the oldest person in my group lesson.
Then I wasted money on the cheesy online programs that no one can learn from and the “teach yourself to play piano books” I bought were all gathering dust in the back of the hall closet.
My husband said he would buy me a piano if I could prove him wrong and learn to play keyboard for beginners.
Digging my feet into the ground I bet him I would not only learn how to play simple songs on my Yamaha beginner keyboard but also more advanced songs like Bach’s Minute in G in six months time. If I could not do this, I would do the dinner dishes for a full month and get Haley our youngest child in bed while he took it easy watching television every night.
With no idea how I was going to win this bet I took him on because I love music and I want a piano for myself.
The next day, I had lunch with my friend Natalie and told her about the bet with Peter. She had learned to play the piano in a very short time using an online system called Rocket Piano.
